The Convening for Dance and Culture is an annual two-day dance conference and concert experience in Detroit, Michigan. This event interweaves interactive classes taught by expert instructors from the African Diaspora. On Saturday, dance classes run from 10 am - 4pm at Andy Art Center, and an evening performance by the TeMaTe dance company at the Detroit School of Art Ford Theatre. The dance conference continues on Sunday, October 19, from 10 am, wrapping up at 6:30 pm.
